Job Description

As the Supply Chain Engineer, you will be responsible for but not limited to: 

  • Explores and benchmarks emerging technology in the industry.
  • Contributes to future technology definition and requirements.
  • Defines the technical requirements for supplier selection.
  • Works together with the supplier to define the raw materials and overall materials manufacturing process flow to meet quality, reliability, cost, yield, and manufacturability requirements.
  • Develops plans and strategies to validate critical process windows at supplies.
  • Drives supplier process window validation activities on critical process modules throughout stages of development.
  • Drives supplier improvements on quality, reliability, yield, and cost.
  • Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education, statistical knowledge, and problem-solving tools.
  • Develops strategy to resolve a wide range of difficult and complex problems.
  • Establishes master Gantt, performs regular review on the project progress.
  • Provides technical support during material transfers for factory start-up.
  • Requires experience and thorough knowledge in business practices and procedures.
  • Lead a project team, assign team action items, drive agenda, develop schedules and execute the whole project on time.
  • Consistently knows what customer requirements and needs are and proactively delivers solutions to meet those needs

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.


Minimum Qualifications:

The candidate must possess at least one of the following degrees plus the years of experience determined for each degree in the areas specified below:

  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering or physical science discipline (chemistry, chemical engineering, physics, materials science) or related field of study with 6+ years of experience.
  • Master's degree in engineering or physical science discipline (chemistry, chemical engineering, physics, materials science) or related field of study with 4+ years of experience.
  • Ph.D. in engineering or physical science discipline (chemistry, chemical engineering, physics, materials science) or related field of study with 2+ years of experience.

Expertise areas:

  • Supplier Management/Negotiation.

 Preferred Qualifications:

  • Intel factory operations or support group work experience.
  • Prior experience working with and/or managing suppliers.
