Here is your chance to join the exciting and dynamic Disaggregated/Modular team whose focus is building the supply chain that will support all of Intel's newest technologies.

The Supply Chain Architect (SCA) engages at the earliest phase of product and technology development, this includes representing the supply chain needs across a wide range of forums, identifying and collaborating within our supply chain and creating new approaches to minimize or eliminate supply chain concerns.

A successful candidate will create new approaches to proactively assessing supply chain, being comfortable in dealing with ambiguity, and strong communication skills to build and maintain strong relationships with partners in and out of the supply chain.

This role requires the candidate to have a wide breadth of knowledge within the Semiconductor Manufacturing, Assembly and Test, including being able to understand the technical and business aspects to drive the right solutions to ensure Intel's success.

The Supply Chain Architect role will be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Represents and owns the supply chain relationship across product design, packaging and manufacturing forums

  • Apply your deep understanding of the supply chain and product design to connect early in the product and technology development phases to establish design boundaries, creative decisions, and process transformations to "Design for Supply Chain" simplification with the goal to serve our customers and provide Intel a competitive advantage.

  • You will partner and influence cross-functional individuals and teams in product engineering, technology development and the supply chain

  • Influence's business unit and manufacturing teams by developing and providing Supply Chain options and solutions to address product needs. Share external ecosystem best practices

  • Lead effort to define Supply Chain Architect role, processes, and tools to improve design for supply chain capabilities

The ideal candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits:

  • Team player that can work in a high-paced, dynamic environment

  • Business Acumen and credibility: Understanding the revenue, cost and time to market implication of design, process, and packaging options as part of the Silicon Manufacturing, Test and Packaging ecosystem.

  • Collaborative with proven team leadership skill to orchestrate X-Intel Supply Chain assessment to identify gaps and closure plans

  • Thorough knowledge of the business practices and procedures to perform non-repetitive analytical work.

  • Product Design and architecture, incl. capability to map product requirements to fab process nodes and package technology offerings.

  • Knowledge of Supply Chain Processes and Systems

  • Knowledge of Internal and External Fab/Test/Advanced Packaging Manufacturing Processes and Flow


You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. This Position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree or master's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering and any related field of Study.

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in product and/or packaging design

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in supply chain process development or overall supply chain management system

  • 7+ years of experience in external Fab/Test/Advanced packaging Manufacturing Processes and Flows
