Intel's Corporate Strategy Office is seeking experienced professionals to be part of the Corporate Strategy Development and Mobilization team which is charted to continue Intel's transformation from a PC centric company, to a data centric company. This impactful role will be responsible for enabling Intel's strategy planning processes to achieve growth aspirations while maximizing company performance and long-term shareholder value.

The candidate must have the ability to influence, collaborate and partner effectively with colleagues in the CSO, and with key members of Intel's business units, to drive the necessary processes that enable the transformational strategic initiatives which ultimately drive the company towards its strategic objectives. This candidate should also have a passion for growth, execution, shareholder value creation with unquestionable integrity. The right candidate is a passionate strategic thinker who can structure and disaggregate the problem into relevant workstreams for the project team and is not afraid to dive in and deliver the analyses and methodology that help frame critical strategic decisions. This leader will enable the processes that result in key strategies that move the company forward while demonstrating a strong growth and business partner mindset, as well as effective communication skills.

Responsibilities include

  • Support Intel's VP of Corporate Strategy Development and Mobilization with developing, communicating, executing, and sustaining the corporate strategic plan for growth.
  • Work across business groups to formulate and implement organic and inorganic strategies that will accelerate Intel's revenue growth and profitability
  • Partner with the executive office to clearly articulate Intel's corporate strategies to internal and external audiences including Intel's board of directors
  • Indirectly influence and peer-manage a diverse set of technical and business leaders as project teams navigate ambiguous and often contentious unknowns with large potential impact on the corporate direction.
  • Produce primary, often novel research work products, and dynamically take on the roles of customer, competitor, and minority reporter as needed during strategy projects.
  • Synthesize secondary data, analysis etc. to produce key insights
  • Be a valuable member and leader of cross-functional project teams to identify and develop corporate strategy and adjacency growth projects that expand our addressable market and growth opportunity.
  • Enables an environment of strong team spirit, timely and effective communications, sense of urgency, high motivation and inspires colleagues to achieve goals in the immediate and longer-term.
  • Effectively communicate plans, so that key partners and stakeholders understand and prioritize around the company-wide strategic direction.

The ideal candidate brings a compelling track record of enabling and executing strategic growth plans in a complex and high-growth business. This leader will bring a breadth of strategic planning and transformation experiences, along with well-developed teamwork skills. This candidate needs to be a collaborative, customer obsessed, assertive and energetic professional who is passionate about creating value for the enterprise.

  • Combination of technical background, business and market acumen, organization savvy, networking capabilities and bias toward execution to yield a decision and outcome.
  • Experience in strategic model development, ability to work seamlessly with colleagues at multiple levels in the organization.
  • Very strong demonstrated analytical, communication, influencing skills, needs to be able to influence at the VPs, Senior Executive and Fellow level across the entire organization including and up to the CEO
  • Strong understanding of the ecosystems and competitive dynamics that Intel operates in across international markets
  • Exemplary skill in peer influencing, indirect leadership, and cross-group collaboration skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills through all levels of the organization, including the development of novel visuals and infographics

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Innovative thinker, smart, sharp and adept at understanding, integrating and applying key ecosystem insights and considerations into robust strategic planning processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to excel in an innovative, fast-paced environment, with rapid exploration and ability to execute
  • Demonstrated hypothesis-driven, problem-solving orientation with ability to leverage both quantitative and qualitative analyses to drive decision making
  • Desire to operate at the intersection of technology and business, spearheading organizational, operational, and technological change
  • Exceptionally strong personal initiative, business instincts, and comfort with ambiguity
  • Ability to manage multiple simultaneous high-priority projects (often including project management of cross-functional teams)
  • Previous experience working for a top management consultancy and-or experience in the strategy function of a Fortune-100 tech company.

    Bachelors degree (BS)

    Masters is a plus

    6+ years of consulting experience   or 10+ years of direct corporate experience


    Inside this Business Group

    The Corporate Strategy Office is chartered to support the executive office in driving corporate initiatives, including near and long-term strategy, major cross-group decision making and ensuring cross-company alignment.  To deliver to that mission, the team owns shaping, driving and synthesizing insights to directionally orient trends as well as long range strategic planning/visioning , cross company alignment and greenfield innovation.  Communications are essential to drive alignment so there is a focus on communications, community and acumen development.  The team is ccommitted to ensuring that Intel efforts are aligned to, and actively driving success toward the most impactful business strategies.
