Job Summary:

The Candidate Engagement team is a collaborative, dynamic and innovative group that focuses on key areas within Talent Acquisition: Diversity, Events, Military Outreach and Strategic Sourcing. This team prides itself on executing creative talent attraction strategies, producing a world-class candidate experience and hiring the most talented minds in the defense industry.

The Talent Acquisition Strategic Technical Sourcer is responsible for driving diverse talent to Raytheon Missiles and Defense (RMD). The ideal candidate for this role has a strong foundation in research, niche recruiting and sourcing capabilities, and has the capability to create and implement strategies to find and attract a diverse pool of technical and engineering talent. This role will demonstrate collaboration skills to identify and produce the right outcomes, effectively manage priority changes and offer creative solutions to various business challenges.

This position will offer a flexible work arrangement, but will require the ability to go into the Tewksbury, MA office as needed.


Responsibilities to Anticipate:
  • Build a diverse candidate pipeline for niche technical roles using talent attraction strategies such as cold-calling, sourcing and social media outreach
  • Follow appropriate compliance guidelines while reviewing candidate resumes ensuring their credentials and experience meet position requirements
  • Understand how to find and build relationships with passive talent
  • Partner with internal and external customers to develop strategies to source and recruit qualified candidates
  • Seek out and participate in learning opportunities to enhance sourcing techniques and stay current on the most innovative tools
Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Bachelors degree or 8 years directly applicable experience may be substituted for the education requirement, in addition to the minimum 2 years of experience required by the position
  • 2+ years of strategic sourcing experience, utilizing various sourcing and market analysis tools
  • 1 year of experience in a performance driven environment supporting customer groups and meeting staffing goals
  • Experience managing candidate and client relationships with the goal of providing excellent customer service
  • Proficient in Avature or another customer relationship management (CRM) tool
Qualifications We Value:
  • Experience influencing and partnering with HR Business Partners, Hiring Managers and Recruiters throughout the recruitment / sourcing process
  • Experience in a recruiting agency environment
  • Commitment to implementing diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to accurately report metrics
  • Ability to build long term relationships and influence passive candidates
  • Experience using Kenexa, Workday or Avature
  • Experience researching market data to make informed decisions about where to focus sourcing efforts
  • Prefer candidate to be based within 50 miles of Tewksbury, MA, but open to remote candidates
