The transaction will enhance the resources and potential of the business' storage solutions, including client and enterprise SSDs, in the rapidly growing NAND Flash space amid the era of big data.This is an exciting time to be at Intel - come join our Data Center NAND Division as a Strategic Planner and work on one of the most advanced 3DNAND and SSD technology portfolios in the world. As the global leader in the semiconductor industry, Intel possesses many industry-leading SSD technologies including the most capable Quadruple Level Cell (QLC) NAND Flash products. As a Strategic Planner, you will be part of a world-class team that will transition to lead the SSD business at SK hynix.This position aligns to Phase 1 of the transaction, which includes the 3DNAND enterprise and client SSD business. Phase 1 is expected to close in late 2021, subject to regulatory approvals and other customary conditions. At deal close, all employees aligned to this phase of the transaction will transition to SK hynix.The Strategic Planner defines the requirements for datacenter SSD products and their associated intellectual property. This person will own driving the initial phases of the POP (Product Opportunity Proposal) process, which includes defining the products requirements, identifying the value proposition, competitive positioning, fit in the product portfolio, and ensuring a positive financial ROI. Strategic planners also define and prioritize the IP roadmap, create new strategies, conduct analysis to optimize the datacenter SSD roadmap, and influence how NVM solutions are deployed in our customers server and storage platforms.


Qualifications

Master or a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Management/Marketing, or Computer Science (or equivalent); MBA preferred, but not required.15+ years in the computer / high tech field10+ years in a role that interfaces with customers; Including requirements gathering5+ years of experience with datacenter and/or enterprise storage required2+ years working on datacenter products and/or technologiesExperience with SSDs required; experience with SSD architecture preferred, but not required.ASIC / controller design or architecture experience preferredStrong Program Management skills, attention to detail, and organization to coordinate a variety of stakeholdersAbility to leverage technical expertise and insights in a team environment and exhibit strong customer orientationDemonstrated written, verbal, and presentation skills required in the development of technical documents and presentations to customersLeadership capability, strong interpersonal communications, and ability to task manageExperience with IA server platforms and experience with the integration and testing of IA Server products in a Windows* or Linux* operating system environment would be an added advantageExperience with NVMe, SAS / SATA, Fiber Channel, RAID controllers, HBAs, Expanders, JBODs strongly preferred
