Marcom is Apple's Global Marketing Communications group, responsible for worldwide marking and advertising, ensuring the detailed development and execution of extraordinary communications.

The Strategic Operations Manager in Apple's Worldwide Marcom group partners with business leaders, supporting a wide range of organizational and team priorities including oversight of the team's annual planning process, partnering to define and drive business strategy, budget management, and vendor management.

The Strategic Operations Manager collaborates with internal and external business partners including; creative and production teams, finance, procurement, IT, facilities, Tools. The Strategic Operations Manager plays a key role in developing solutions around the way we work that address complex needs and which result in successful sustainable solutions for Marcom.

This position will report to our Strategic Operations Manager overseeing Design, Retail, Channel and Store Experience. We welcome you to apply!

Key Qualifications

  • You have at least 10 years of operational and project management experience within a creatively-driven agency and a product based marketing organization.
  • You have a deep understanding of the fixture development process and familiarity with visual merchandizing.
  • You have experience supporting teams in the ideation and production of store fixtures and visual merchandizing processes and requirements.
  • You have experience in both retail and wholesale marketing organizations with working knowledge or industry standard deliverables.
  • You balance working in a creatively driven organization with a passion for operational clarity and data supported decision making.
  • You thrive on building structures and processes that support the development of amazing creative work.
  • You have excellent organizational and prioritization skills paired with the flexibility to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
  • You can confidently build rapport, credibility and influence with multiple stakeholders, at many levels, in a highly matrix'd organization.
  • You have demonstrated success collaborating with multiple teams.
  • You have experience leading change, ensuring different perspectives are heard and incorporated into solutions.
  • You are an extraordinary communicator with excellent written, verbal, presentation and negotiation skills.


Drive investigations into organizational challenges, collaborating with multiple teams in order to deliver more efficient operating models.

Partner with business leads to deliver annual and quarterly plans ensuring the plans are aligned to the agreed strategic priorities.

Strategically manage budgets to provide insights and guidance that inform team choices.

Partner with Corporate Procurement and business leads on all contract negotiations, vendor structure discussions and supplier performance reviews.

Collaborate with Facilities and IT to ensure the team's perspective and requests are considered at a larger, organizational level.

Education & Experience

A BA/BS is required.
