The Data Center Platform Architecture Integration and Validation (PAIV) team is looking for a Staff Software Engineer, Architect to join our dynamic and growing team. In this role you will lead a telemetry data collection, processing, and analysis toolset to improve validation effectiveness.

Responsibilities
will include but not limited to:

  • Design, develop, and support a software telemetry tool to aid in validation and qualification of platform hardware, firmware, and software.

  • Engage with validation architects to understand their testing needs.

  • Own the complete lifecycle of the telemetry software solution.

  • Lead a team of junior engineers and contract workers.

  • Deep dive into validation challenges and find efficient solutions.

  • Provide relevant technical leadership and continuous improvement of validation efforts.

  • Drive quality and productivity initiatives to improve process and methodologies across teams.

  • Partner and maintain alignment with cross functional teams to deliver robust and high-quality accelerated telemetry solution.

  • Be a leader in driving issue investigations and challenges.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a positive factor in identifying top candidates. Requirements listed may be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.

Minimum Requirements:

The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of industry experience or Master's degree with 5+ years of industry experience in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.

Minimum qualifications:

3+ years of experience with:

  • Developing Python frameworks.

  • Writing Extract/Load/Transform (ELT) frameworks.

  • SQL databases.

  • Industry experience with version control, continuous integration, and/or continuous delivery concepts.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with Node.js.

  • Experience with the Elasticstack.

  • Computer architecture.

  • Prior exposure to working with CSP and OEM teams.

  • Proficiency in Server based technologies, Machine Learning, Microprocessor, CPU and Cloud Technologies.

  • Experience in collaboration with geographically diverse multi-functional teams.

  • Experience with software engineering fundamentals (object oriented programming, parallel programming, and version control).

  • Experience with software testing fundamentals.

  • Experience with Tableau, PowerBI, or comparable analytics tool.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$130,020.00-$195,420.00
