This is a multi-level position based on the candidates qualifications as they relate to the skills, experience, and requirements for this position. Job Description: Provide Digital Technology (DT) Storage and Data Protection support in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux environment. Lead storage and backup technology management to include knowledge of Windows and Linux System Administration, DNS, DHCP, AD, and server replication methods. Work as a team member in a fast paced technological environment. Support and implement new storage and data protection technologies based upon industry best practices. Use troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems at an advanced complexity to include the integration and maintenance of Storage and Data Protection hardware, software and operating systems (OS). Understanding of software tools, automated scripts, hardware and system-level troubleshooting, to lead and support the user community. Perform tuning to maximize system performance on storage systems. Work with DT Program Execution functions to support deployments, sustainment, and standardize processes and procedures. Work with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain security compliance requirements. Provide documentation and training on storage and data protection procedures. Be a mentor to junior and peer members. This candidate must be able to obtain required Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent certification and an Operating System Certification) within 6 months of hire date. US Citizenship statues required as this position needs active US Security Clearance within one year of employment Minimum Required Skills: Bachelor's in IT or related STEM field is required and must have 4 years of directly related experience, or in lieu of an IT or STEM degree additional experience is required.

Experience in Windows and or Linux Server Environments including directory services management, and system hardening
Minimum 2 years experience maintaining a medium to large storage environments
Experience with OS internals, file system structures, and machine architectures
Experience with storage technologies, tape library management, systems principles, and safeguards
Experience of TCP/IP, switches, firewalls, routers, and their operations
Experience developing solutions and documentation to a variety of technical problems
Experience managing special projects and manage resources
Experience in training others in standard DT Storage & Data Protection processes and procedures
Highly Desired Skills / Certifications:
An active DoD Secret Clearance
An active DoD Top Secret, TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance or prior SCI/program eligibility
Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent certification and an Operating System Certification)
Direct working experience with NISPOM, JSIG, and/or DoD/RMF
4 years experience maintaining a medium to large storage environment
Experience in Project Leadership, Management, or Project management in a DT domain
Intermediate scripting experience
Intermediate knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Windows Server and ONTAP Data Management Software
Intermediate knowledge of Backup Exec, NetBackup and CommVault
Experience supporting end users with gathering storage requirements
Intermediate experience with ONTAP security hardening, systems integrations, troubleshooting and authentication
Experience training and mentoring colleagues
