Job Description

Client MRC is a fun and challenging software engineering team that delivers industry-leading Memory Reference Code for bleeding-edge Intel silicon products. The team works collaboratively with design and hardware engineers to understand, develop, and validate state-of-the-art memory software and firmware to ensure a stable, world-class memory subsystem. Additionally, the team is involved in breaking memory speed overclocking world records and working with industry standardization boards to influence next generation memory specifications.  We are looking for a Sr. Software Memory Architect to join our team.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job(s).

Minimum
skills and experience:

Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science with 7+ years of industry experience.
Work experience must include the following:

  • C/C++ programming skills
  • Memory subsystem architecture and computer architecture fundamentals
  • Expertise in both LPDDR5 and DDR5 JEDEC standards
  • Experience with debugging pre-silicon simulations of the memory interface
  • Unix Experience

 

Preferred skills and experience:

  • Unit Test Experience; Especially GTest and/or Hippomocks
