Job Summary:
Raytheon Technologies is looking for a Senior Principal Supply Chain Compliance Specialist. This role will report to the Raytheon Missiles and Defense Sr. Mgr. of Supply Chain Business Operations (SC Risk) and interface with business leaders across the enterprise. The successful candidate will have a unique opportunity to collaborate with the Global Supply Chain Management (GSCM) teams to facilitate, manage, improve and digitize the overall Subcontract Closeout activities within RMD.
The Sr. Principal SC Compliance Specialist will be responsible for supporting internal and external audits, collaborating on post award purchasing reviews and assisting with Subcontract Closeout (Purchase Order) activities as it relates to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 4.804, Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) 204.804, and relevant RMD Policies and procedures.
A successful candidate will be able to leverage the team to meet the demands of this exciting and challenging role.

Responsibilities To Anticipate:
  • Support the RMD IPDS Process for Subcontract Close-Outs with adherence to RMD Directives and Process Policies
  • Supports and facilitates the process for adherence to FAR Part 4.804-5 Items 1-9 which include:
    • Disposition of classified material is completed; Final patent report is cleared; Final royalty report is cleared; no outstanding value engineering change proposal; Plant clearance report is received; Property clearance is received; interim or disallowed costs are settled; Price revision is completed; and Subcontracts are settled by the prime contractor.
  • Manages Global Supply Chain Metrics related to audit activities that drive informed business decisions at every level of the organization
  • Collaborates with colleagues on preparation for status meetings, tracking and communicating program metrics related to Supply Chain risk attributable to subcontract closeout, internal and external and other supply chain activities.
  • Understand business processes within SCM and adjacent functions to prioritize solutions that will enable efficiency in the GSCM organization as it relates to supply chain activities
  • Supports the RMD GSCM personnel with providing answers to questions about our Subcontract Close-Out Process, Audit and PO review activities.
  • Responsible for the change management strategy of new initiatives and process updates to ensure all GSCM employees receive clear concise messaging and understand intent as it relates to the Subcontract Closeout process
  • Position can be based in Tucson, AZ; Huntsville, AL; Rosslyn, VA; Dallas, TX; Boston Area or any major US City for national travel. Flexibility to travel to Raytheon sites as needed 15% of the time.

    Qualifications You Must Have:

    Minimum of 8 years of experience; preferably in supply chain roles
  • Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), the supplements to the FAR, and government contract procurement processes, and/or Contracts
  • Experience using SAP procurement systems, related reporting applications, and SC tools
  • Experience developing, utilizing and deploying performance metrics
  • Experience in leading complex projects with defined business objectives and due dates
  • Bachelors degree. Preferably in Business, Supply chain, Contract Management or related. Advanced degree preferred.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

    This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Non-US citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The Defense Industrial Security Clearance Office (DISCO), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process.
