  • Engagement in proposals to assess needs, scope and develop a bid for the Producibility activity provided by the department
  • Leadership of producibility scope and continuous support to the hardware development through detailed design, proof of design/manufacturing, low rate initial production and production phases
  • Leadership of formal and informal producibility engagements, such as Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA), across multiple RMD products and programs
  • Support to program independent reviews, assessing the programs production readiness and alignment to cost targets
  • Leadership of process innovation initiatives related to producibility and product affordability, helping the directorate and department meet annual goals
  • Communication of successes from the group up through program and functional management
Occasional travel will be required to support supplier activities and collaborate with department/directorate peers.
