Raytheon Whole Life Engineering (WLE) consists of several engineering disciplines. The main objective is to influence hardware and systems early in their life cycle to assure effective operation, reliability, maintainability and safe and economical ownership by the customer and end user. At Naval Power section within Whole Life Engineering, we provide a variety of Engineering capabilities to the Whole Life Engineering and Support Department, including:
Failure Reporting Analysis and Corrective Action System (FRACAS)
Technical Documentation /Logistics Management Information and Training
Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS)
We are conducting search for a Sr. Logistics EngineeringSpecialist, who will have the opportunity to contribute to multi-disciplinary teams with the objective to oversee logistics engineering within major development programs.
Responsibilities will include:
Utilizing Logistics Engineering expertise and knowledge to apply Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) methods, standards, and techniques
Identifying logistics engineering impacts to ensure supportability considerations are appropriately applied to systems
Analyzing engineering and systems management data, developing logistics plans and procedures, developing logistics management plans and guidelines
Acting as the interface across multiple engineering disciplines to ensure integration and continuity in the design, development, and sustainment processes
Supporting activities including operational concepts, trade studies, and design improvements by performing supportability analyses
Providing assistance to the Whole Life Engineering Lead or Integrated Product Team Lead
This position can be a Salary Grade G09 or Salary Grade G10 based on the candidates qualifications as they relate to the skills, experience and responsibility requirements for the position.
This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Except in rare circumstances, only US Citizens are eligible for a security clearance.Periodical domestic travels are required.
Required Skills:
6+ years supply chain, manufacturing, field service, depot maintenance, operations or engineering experience in a military or civilian environment
At a Grade G09, 4+ years of experience in the aforementioned area along with a relevant Master's Degree
At a Grade G10, 6+ years of experience in the aforementioned area along with a relevant Master's Degree
Logistics experience in a civilian or military environment.

Ability to plan, organize, coordinate, integrate, execute, and manage all logistics tasks and to analyze and resolve logistics problems relating to operational considerations
Must have ability to manage time and resources in order to meet the assigned deadlines
Experience with Integrated Logistics Plans, Level of Repair Analysis, Maintenance Concepts, Training Concept, Packaging, Handling, Shipping & Transportation, Onboard Parts and Material Outfitting Data and Recommendations, Support and Test Equipment Definition Report
Experience in the development and maintenance of Logistics Management Information in accordance with MIL-STD-1388-2B, GEIA-STD-0007, or MIL-PRF-49506
Experience to collaborate with customers and other engineering functions
Contractual bidding process experience with military customers
Professional certification as a Certified Logistics Engineer
Must have ability to manage time and resources in order to meet the assigned deadlines
Existing secret clearance is a plus
Required Education:
Bachelors Degree. 8+ years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of the Bachelors degree.
