Job Description: This position is the DT Workplace Technical Specialist. The DT Workplace Technical Specialist is responsible for cultivating Digital Workplace innovation projects across RMD with a focus on decreasing costs and improving employee productivity, retention, and satisfaction. Responsibilities include research, prototyping/piloting, road-mapping, and architecture/integration of new technology into a users Digital Workspace. The DT Workplace Technical Specialist will be responsible for measuring pilot success for transition to production or sun setting pilots while tracking lessons learned. They will interface with technical SMEs across DT, the business, and ensuring alignment with the enterprise. The DT Workplace Technical Specialist will collaborate with the enterprise to extend and advocate for new innovation areas of enterprise solutions.
Required Education, Skills and Experience:
Demonstrated understanding of integrated digital technologies (e.g., IIoT, APIs, analytics, virtual collaboration tools) with direct experience in virtual collaboration.
Demonstrated experience in working to install, configure, integrate, deploy and pilot solutions
Must be able to travel; Travel requirement up to 15-20% pending government travel restrictions
Must be capable of generating and executing customer journey maps and technology roadmaps
Previous experience working or partnering with a wide range of internal customers
Previous experience of writing guides, CONOPS and transition plans,
Demonstrated knowledge and experience ensuring compliant architectures
Previous experience in developing innovative and creative IT solutions
Previous experience in analytical, trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills using IT Tools
Must be able to obtain US DoD Secret Clearance within 12 months of employment
U.S Citizenship is required.
