Job Description

The Imaging Systems Architect will drive future Imaging and Vision subsystem requirements that meet product vision, including considerations for use-cases, Image Signal Processor (ISP) and silicon capabilities, optical and mechanical design implications and solution cost.

The ideal candidate would have to comply with the requirements to perform detailed system analysis and tradeoff evaluations arriving at the most optimal solution.

Requires engaging with third-party vendors, tracking competition, evaluating solutions, and making recommendations for CCG product lines; and working in a matrixed organization and be responsible for the definition and design, development, and deployment support of future CCG platforms and stay engaged through the entire PLC.

The successful candidate should exhibit behavioral traits that indicate:

  • Strong communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills in addition to being comfortable with working through ambiguities

  • Results-oriented and willing to quickly ramp up on new technologies and evaluate the user experience impact.


Qualifications

You must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electric Engineering, Computer Science or related field with 7+ years of relevant industry experience in the areas of Image processing and related technologies,

  • Expertise in image processing architecture and knowledge of competitive PC/mobile imaging features, imaging software stack and understanding of emerging technologies and standards.

  • Good knowledge of ISP IP architecture including ISP data-flows and processing blocks

  • Good understanding of image quality metrics and image quality evaluation

  • Understanding of Windows, Android, and Linux Operating Systems, as related to Imaging and vision subsystems

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electric Engineering, Computer Science or related field with 5+ years of relevant industry experience in the areas of Image processing and related technologies.

  • Familiarity with imaging algorithms such as HDR, super resolution, image fusion, multi-camera registration, etc.
