The Naval Power Business Office has an immediate Sr. Financial Analyst opportunity to provide support for NSMS Development and special program efforts. Naval Power Advanced Programs is part of the Naval Shipboard Missiles Portfolio with yearly Sales of approximately $700M per year with a secure and stable long term business forecast. Responsibilities include management of both EVMS and LOE contracts, analysis of program performance, utilization of PRISM tools, establishing initial baseline for new awards, monthly forecasting, including tracking variances, interfacing with Cost Account Managers and the Team of Five, support of Government audits and ensuring compliance with EAC policies. The primary focus of this position will be management of a continuing full EVMS, multi- year development contract to be defined in the first quarter of 2021. Initial funding is already in place; in addition to managing the current funding the analyst chosen for this position will be responsible for supporting the initial budgeting/baseline of the full contract and assisting in the establishment of a new program office. Additional job duties include but are not limited to: Working with bookings/backlog, Maintaining monthly RPLAN forecasts, Providing inputs to Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and 5 year, maintenance of contract modifications, working capital and corporate ops presentation The ideal individual for this job will be an excellent communicator with a desire to learn and be challenged, the ability to work on a variety of tasks, and the ability to interact with a variety of management levels and customer counterparts. This position will provide an opportunity to enhance skills in PRISM, estimates at completion, variance analyses, and other metrics and tools used in support of development and sustainment projects.
Required Education, Skills & Experience:
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or Business related field is required
4 years finance/accounting work experience (2 years finance/accounting work experience with a directly related Masters degree)
Experience interfacing and conducting business with various functional disciplines (Contracts, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain) in program development and execution
Experience with MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
Experience with SAP Business Systems (APEX, PRISM, BW) or similar tools

Existing DoD Secret clearance

Experience supporting contractual EVMS programs
Experience with APEX, PRISM and Business Warehouse
Experience working independently and with higher levels of management
Minimum one year of experience with performing EVMS with MPM

Experience preparing contractual IPMR requirements for contractual EVMS programs
Ability to communicate effectively with peers, leadership, and customer

Experience training finance team members in tools and processes
