Job Description

LogMeIn is seeking an FP&A Analyst to support our Corporate FP&A team, with a focus on revenue forecasting, planning and reporting. In this role, a candidate will gain valuable experience and visibility into LogMeIns business and operations while having an impact on the companys adoption of new KPIs and measurement of performance against those metrics as the company continues to grow. With forecasting, planning and reporting responsibilities, this candidate will support the strategic goals and growth targets of the business, working both within the broader Finance organization and cross-functionally across the organization.

Previous tech/software finance background is a plus and experience in data analytics is ideal. A strong desire to learn and communicate learnings is key to this role. The ideal candidate will possess a desire to succeed and grow with the company while bringing a can-do attitude to work each day. This person will be highly detail-oriented and will act in a proactive manner to drive actionable insight to the broader organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the monthly forecast cycles and budget planning cycles, including coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders, preparing models and communicating results/deliverables
  • Own the end-to-end revenue modeling process for a portfolio of products. Seek ways continuously improve and scale the forecasting process
  • Contribute to the development of an enhanced deferred revenue forecast process and support roll-out of new billings data source
  • Assist FP&A Management with monthly forecast preparation and consolidation process. Assist in preparation of Monthly and Quarterly reporting distributions to support CFO and Board of Directors reporting. Support various ad-hoc reporting responsibilities
  • Assist with reporting and analysis of Bookings, Revenue and SaaS metric KPIs
  • Work with the VP of FP&A and senior FP&A management on special projects and CFO support

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of finance experience or an equivalent combination of education/experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to interface with stakeholders across the Finance & Accounting, Sales and Business Operations organizations as well as members of the Finance leadership team
  • Experience with financial statement analysis and a robust knowledge of finance and accounting concepts
  • Proven analytical skillset with ability to analyze, interpret and generate insights based on large data sets
  • High-energy worker with results-focused attitude. Capability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with ability to tackle high-level questions, brainstorm solutions and communicate findings
  • Strong team player who has a customer service approach and is solutions-oriented, with a track record of success
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excel, Tableau, GL/ERP (NetSuite or equivalent) and Financial Planning software (Hyperion or equivalent) experience
