JOB SUMMARY
The Sr. Application Developer is responsible for planning, analyzing, designing, implementing, testing, and maintaining mobile, standalone, or  Internet/Intranet applications offered by the department, as directed by management. 

Responsible for the implementation of security and the performance monitoring of applications. Reviews and redesigns existing applications as needed, implements new applications with database and inter-system connectivity. Assists in the technical management of applications and servers, including software installation, configuration, testing, and file management. Works in conjunction with other team members in the development of software with emphasis on programming, testing, and implementation of applications across varied layers and platforms. Acts as or assists the Technical Lead in developing the architecture, design, and implementation of software applications.

1. Develop and design applications that utilize set standards to ensure the highest quality. (EF)
2. Ensure written software is tested and meets the expectations of the stakeholder per previously discussed and accepted requirements. (EF)
3. Execute daily, iteration and project level tasks on time and within committed timeframes. (EF)
4. Lead the design and development of assigned projects. (EF)
5. Lead small and mid sized projects. (EF)

FINANCE - 5 %
1. Identify cost saving or revenue opportunities. Utilizes department resources and supplies effectively.
2. Manage time effectively to meet established and committed deadlines. (EF)

GROWTH/INNOVATION - 15 %
1. Pursue knowledge of new technologies and methodologies that improve productivity, workflow, production, efficiency, and effectiveness.
2. Seek out innovative technologies that provide solutions to new ideas, trends, and concepts.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
o Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS or similar.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
o Seven years developing or supporting software applications
o Healthcare industry experience preferred

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED
o MCSD or other pertinent certification preferred

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
o Demonstrates the skills and competencies necessary to safely perform the assigned job, determined through on-going skills, competency assessments, and performance evaluations.
o Sufficient proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing the English language necessary to perform the essential functions of this job, especially with regard to activities impacting patient or employee safety or security.
o Ability to effectively communicate with patients, physicians, family members and co-workers in a manner consistent with a customer service focus and application of positive language principles.
o Ability to interact effectively with individuals from different countries and cultures, with a sensitivity to cultural diversity.

o Experience with Agile methodologies.
o Experience with Source Code Management, with Team Foundation Server or Git preferred.
o Xamarin, Native Android or IOS mobile development experience preferred
o .Net / Web API experience preferred.
