Job Summary:


The Mission Capability Verification Center is searching for a qualified candidate to join the Patriot team at White Sands Missile Range, NM to support the program test operations and PM460 data collection and analysis activities. The PM460 test station consists of a variety of commercial and Raytheon designed computer-controlled test equipment and data recording hardware. The system operates under software control designed to exercise a missile round through a complete prelaunch to intercept set of test scenarios. The system provides the missile with all power and control signals and data gathering equipment to evaluate a flight rounds operational status for mission support at WSMR and McGregor test ranges. Hardware and software involved in this operation is unique to the Patriot missile.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:
  • Operations of the test station in advance of mission execution at the test ranges
  • Collaborate and assist program engineers in the development of test plans for new generations of missile
  • Assist in the development and implementation of required security audits and NISPOM requirements
  • Maintain configuration management and associated documentation for the hardware, software, and firmware of the test station
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to maintain the test station
This position can be a Senior Analyst or Principal Analyst based on the candidate's qualifications as they relate to the skills, experience and responsibility requirements for the position

Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Bachelors degree, or additional 2 years of relevant experience for each one year of college
    • Examples of relevant experience include electrical/electronic engineering, technical troubleshooting, and equipment operations, maintenance, and configuration management for DoD special test equipment such as the PM460
  • Senior Analyst: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
  • Principal Specialist: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with computer operating systems such as VMS, Unix/Linux, or similar systems
  • Coding/programming experience in C, C++, Python, Matlab, and/or FORTRAN
  • Experience in the operation and maintenance of special test equipment, including problem investigation/troubleshooting, corrective action documentation and resolution, and configuration management.
  • An active and in-scope Secret US security clearance
Qualifications We Value:
  • Bachelors or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related Engineering disciplines
  • Experience with the operation and maintenance of the PM460 test station
  • Experience in the implementation and auditing related to NISPOM security requirements
  • Experience with missile processing workflow
  • Experience with PCM type air to ground telemetry equipment
  • Experience with liquid to liquid and air-cooling support equipment, servo positioning systems and/or high-pressure gas delivery and control systems

This position requires either a U.S. Person or Non- U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization.

This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Non-US citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The Defense Industrial Security Clearance Office (DISCO), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process.
