Job Summary:

The Integrated Missile Defense Solutions and Strategic Engagement Systems Program Area Directorate Contract leads are seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to support both Directors. This position requires the ability to act independently, prioritize multiple tasks and support the geographically dispersed team members. In addition, the ability to exercise discretion and handle sensitive and confidential information is critical. The role will routinely interact with counterparts both internally and in the customer community. This Executive Assistant will need to be highly proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite of business tools and other Raytheon Technologies administrative tools and processes.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:
  • Handling office administrative tasks in a timely manner and managing the leaders calendar and referrals
  • Screening emails to assist the leader in effectively managing time, dates, commitments, and schedules
  • Arranging appointments and conferences
  • Collecting and combining inputs for various program reviews
  • Compose reports, correspondence, PowerPoint presentations, and memorandums. Review drafts and finished documents.
  • Understand and comply with Raytheon Technologies' policies and procedures and Security functions.
  • Proactively identify ways to enable greater productivity and efficiency in role
  • Reviewing and monitoring assigned budgets (Achievement Awards, office supplies, etc.) to ensure leader is aware of transactions and budget constraints
  • Responding to questions related to office management and administrative processes in support of the business/program leadership
  • May assist in directing work, assigning, and outlining tasks at the leaders request
  • Utilizing office software applications and other office tools and equipment according to business need; charts, and presentations to include inter-office correspondence and emails
  • Edit and process final documents for appropriate grammar and syntax
  • Back-up support to the SMD Executive Assistant to include supporting and handling logistics of employee morale events, wellness events, emergency preparedness and business continuity planning
Qualifications you must have:
  • A minimum of six years relevant administrative assistant experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with calendar management, meeting scheduling and coordination, creating and preparing documents or reports
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office suite tools (MS Word, Power Point, Excel)
  • Demonstrated experience in planning and coordinating complex travel to include international travel
Qualification We Value:
  • AA degree or equivalent
  • Knowledge of Raytheon Technologies business or industry
  • Demonstrated experience with the following Software and Tools used for managing an executive office efficiently (including but not limited to):
    • International Travel Approval and Tracking System (ITATS)
    • Raytheon Technologies Security visitor request/registration systems
    • Expense Reporting System
  • Demonstrated experience planning and organizing schedules and events
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Raytheon Technologies Policies and Procedures (Business Travel, Business Courtesies, etc.)
  • Demonstrated experience interacting with senior levels of leadership effectively
  • Demonstrated experience handling multiple tasks concurrently and making quick decisions in a fast-paced environment
