Job Description

As a Software Quality Assurance Leader your responsibilities will be, but not limited to:

  • Designs, develops, tests, and debugs software applications used by end users or integrated with other applications by Independent Software Vendor I(SV) partners.
  • Development may span the full application stack including both frontend and backend application development.
  • Uses modern software development methodologies and programming languages, follows secure coding practices and software legal compliance guidelines, analyzes user stories, writes both functional and test code, automates build and deployment, and performs unit integration and end to end testing of applications.
  • Completes Security Development Lifecycle (SDL) tasks with the assistance of product security engineers and provides input to technical writers to complete product documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance.
  • May also interact with end users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications.
  • With strong software logic design, ensure project deadlines and performance standards are established and met

In addition the ideal candidate should also exhibit the following skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication to report quality plans and status (metrics) to management and stakeholders, and to work across a globally diverse set of teams and customers
  • Proven and demonstrated project management and leadership engagement experience
  • Demonstrated skills to elicit and analyze requirements, design innovative solutions, and communicate effectively to the Product Owner and APT teams as needed
  • Self-starter with strong analytical and critical thinking skills to learn and apply with problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills to apply towards tangible data and metrics to back up assumptions, develop business cases, and complete root cause/analyses
  • Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and objectives simplification to enable and empower teams working on several projects simultaneously


Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or any other related field, or equivalent experience

5+ years of experience in the following:

  • Working in positions involving matrix resource management, quality management with strong technical and domain experience
  • Development, coding experience with Agile coding methodologies

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in:

  • Solution Design QA
  • Domain experience in Selenium
  • Working in Agile projects
  • SAFe methodology
