The iPad System QA is a creative team dedicated to improving the customer experience of Apple's innovative iPads. We are responsible for driving integrated system testing with an emphasis on hardware-centric software risks and new software features for new/existing iPads and its accessories. You will join a dynamic and curious group of people and our testing demands thinking out of the box, ranging from customer usage scenario research to designing complicated test procedures around it. We also contribute tremendously to the improvement of smart keyboards, smart covers, pencils and other soft goods

Key Qualifications

  • 3+ years of SQA or System Test experience, preferably on consumer-facing hardware/software products. Testing experience with mobile devices is a plus
  • Demonstrates QA skills with at least 2 complete product cycles, from inception to customer shipment
  • Experience building/creating/using Robotics to create automated solutions
  • Passionate about the customer experience and what we can do to improve it
  • Excellent cross-functional communication and influencing skills
  • You are detail oriented and organized with a strong discipline of adhering to standards
  • You have strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Sufficient knowledge of tools necessary for strong data analysis

- Test key features of one or more products and/or software updates
- Research user scenarios and follow with developing and executing test plans for them
- You will work closely with development teams, to identify and understand key features and their underlying functionality
- Verify the proper functioning and quality of those features prior to shipping them
- You will work closely with team members & cross-functional groups to identify risk areas, develop testing around them, and represent QA concerns in cross-functional meetings
- Analyze data from test results and generate timely reports from that data to be presented to management and cross-functional teams
- Ensure test coverage of your areas of ownership and keep the team and management updated on current statuses and drive critical issues to be fixed

Education & Experience
- Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
