Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for assessing the quality of Intel's products and will be providing quality metrics and data to teams to make risk-based business decisions to either ship or gate the release of Intel's products. You will work closely with product development teams through the development life cycle to set quality requirements and goals and then monitor and control to ensure the goals are met. You will provide regular quality reports and dashboards for teams to monitor and track the progress of products towards achieving stated quality goals. 

As part of the job, you need to develop a deep understanding of the development process across multiple Intel teams, identify gaps and opportunities for improvement and develop solutions to increase the automation and efficiency of our processes. Deep understanding of Quality standards like GS5000, ISO 9000, and models like CMMI. We are looking for passionate candidates, who are willing to learn and have the right temperament to influence stakeholders towards achieving quality goals.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum qualifications and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates: 


 Minimum Qualifications: 


You should possess at least one of the following: 

1. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Operations Management, or a related discipline. And 6+ years of experience in the technical skills below.

2. Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Operations Management, or a related discipline. And 4+ years of experience in the technical skills below.

  • Improving the quality of software, data analysis, and metrics creation techniques

  • software development life cycle, legal & security processes, and programming/scripting languages.

 Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Setting up the QMS.

  •  Prior experience in Military-Avionics-Government programs & with associated customers.

  • Experience Working with FPGA and EDA SW.

  • Knowledge of software quality engineering methods.

  • Experience in delivering software products to market.

  • Experience in working with teams needing substantial support to mature their software development practices.

  • Proficient skills in solving problems and using data to drive decisions

  • Robust Technical evaluation, usability evaluation & functional understanding of Intel Platforms

  • Effective influencing skills.

  • Comfortable and skilled working in an ambiguous and frequently changing environment.

  • Scripting experience.
