Job Description

Engineering Applications Group within Sort Test Technology Development (STTD) is seeking an experienced software engineer to work on the next generation of Intel's test equipment software.

The successful candidate will work on designing, developing, testing, and supporting software in Intel's test manufacturing facilities.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Feature definition, development, and maintenance of Intel's High-Volume Manufacturing (HVM) test equipment software.
  • Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle.
  • Identifying and resolving security vulnerabilities.
  • Implementing security measures to protect data, software, and hardware.
  • Optimize network performance and reliability.
  • Finding opportunities to improve quality of the product and testing processes, bug fixes etc.
  • Cross-geo collaboration with engineering teams across Intel.


Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position.

Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Possess a Masters Degree with 3+ years of experience or PHD Degree with 1+ years of experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience working with Object oriented programming (e.g., C#, C++, Java).
  • Understanding algorithms and data structures.
  • Management and leadership experience, task planning and coordination.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Networking Technologies: DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, TFTP, PXE, VLAN, Cisco Routers/Switches, Ethernet, Network Address Translation (NAT), Port forwarding, Multicast, Unicast, WireShark.
  • Experience in using some scripting languages, Python, batch, etc.
  • Knowledge of Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) and Windows Communication Foundation (WCF).
  • Net Framework/.Net Core experience.
