The Localization Automation Team is responsible for developing tools and technologies that allow Apple to localize and ship products such as iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Mac, Apple TV, and more across the world.
We are looking for a talented Software Engineer to take our localization process used to ship localized graphics to the next level. You will be in charge of a crucial process that impacts every product with the objective of making it even better. You will also develop new tools and applications to enhance Apple's localization technologies.
Key Qualifications
The environment is fast-paced, requiring the ability to work autonomously and to manage to aggressive delivery schedules. Suitable candidates should have a strong background in Computer Science, excellent problem solving skills and passion to improve existing processes and tools. The right mix of technical, organizational, and communication skills is key to success. Attention to detail and a proven ability to manage priorities are essential.
Specific responsibilities will include:
- Designing, developing and improving internal applications and processes
- Working cross functionally with teams across Engineering and Desktop Publishing to add support for new software features
- Troubleshooting complex technical problems
- Automating and integrating workflow from diverse systems
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
