The App Store is the world's largest and most innovative software store, serving hundreds of millions of iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, Apple Watch, iMessage and Mac customers. The App Store team is seeking a dynamic and seasoned individual to serve as its Social Marketing Manager on all platforms. The candidate will serve as a global lead in online social media marketing for the App Store on all platforms with the goal to grow our social media following across social networks and increase the engagement of this audience across communities. You will define and implement high impact programs to achieve these goals, while building and utilizing content from our dynamic catalog of apps and games.

Key Qualifications

  • Minimum 4-5 years experience leading a social media strategy for a well-established, global brand.
  • Exceptional knowledge of social media technologies pertinent to driving successful marketing campaigns and strategies.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Experience at executing engaging and innovative campaigns.
  • Experience using intuition and data to guide decision making.
  • Ability to guide global strategy and collaborate with a global team.
  • Strong project management skills and fluency with Keynote and Numbers.
  • Outstanding communication, time-management, and presentation skills.
  • Very strong communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure with proven experience working on complex, international, large-scale, time-critical projects.
  • Strong ability to work independently as well as cooperatively in a team environment to achieve goals.
  • Results oriented, energetic and focused with a strong desire to learn and succeed.

Description

The ideal candidate must demonstrate leadership and vision for social media and an understanding of how apps, games and social trends intersect in the daily behavioral habits of all App Store customers worldwide. This role will regularly interact with internal and external stakeholders to build collaborative and cohesive strategies to support our ecosystem of third-party developers. You must have a strong passion for apps and games. The right candidate is a hungry, creative, and an effective marketer with leadership qualities with a strategic view towards the growth and development of both the service and their team.

Education & Experience

BA/BS degree in Business, Marketing, Communication or related field; MBA or equivalent degree preferred.
