Job Description

Come join the Xeon team in Fort Collins, CO or Santa Clara, CA, Portland, Hudson, MA,  Allentown, PA, US, Texas, Austin, Folsom, CA.

We are looking to hire an Experienced SoC Design Manager.

As a first-level SoC physical design manager you will be responsible for delivering tape-in ready design for the next generation of Xeons.

You will plan and set priorities for your team, ensure an inclusive work environment, promote and exemplify Intel values, develop employees, manage performance, and execute to project goals.

You will oversee definition, design, verification, and documentation for SoC (System on a Chip) development from RTL to GDS, including all aspects of the SoC design flow from high-level design to synthesis, place and route, timing and power to create a design database that is ready for manufacturing. You may also review vendor capability to support development. You will select, develop, and evaluate SoC design engineers to ensure efficient operation, and you will also evaluate the tools, flows and methodologies that best meet project needs.

Your expectations include contributing to project-level planning and execution spanning the entire design team. Examples may include driving convergence of a horizontal area such as SoC timing or layout, or acting as a liaison to another team such as RTL integration. Excellent communication skills are a must. You will be expected to accurately report your execution status at regular intervals and to set the standard for clarity as a positive example to your peer managers and leaders.


Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering with 6+ years of industry experience -OR- a Master's degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering with 4+ years of industry experience with:

  • Backend tools and flows, including synthesis with design compiler or Fusion Compiler, APR and analysis tools such as Primetime and FEV. Strong leadership examples are a must.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

In addition the the minimum qualifications, the strongest candidates will have previous experience on Xeon projects and/or prior managerial experience.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$132,940.00-$199,800.00
