In GTCHE we are responsible for delivering industry-leading GPU (3D, media, compute, and display) hardware, intellectual property (IP) blocks and system-on-a-chip (SoC) products for discrete graphics and throughput computing. We strive to lead the industry through continuous innovation and world-class engineering. We are looking for a SoC Design Engineer to join our team where you will use state of the art digital design tools and flows and will be responsible for various stages of SoC design.

You will help us with the following responsibilities:

In this position you will help us with the following responsibilities

  • Oversee definition, design, verification, Integration and documentation for SoC (System on a Chip) development.
  • Understand module interfaces/formats for Integration and building an SOC model for simulation, emulation and for structural design teams simulation.
  • Perform Logic design for integration of  external and internal functional units and subsystems into SoC full chip designs, Register Transfer Level coding, and simulation for SoCs.
  • Contribute to the development of multidimensional designs involving the multiple dies on a package with product level build and simulation and verification.
  • Perform all aspects of the SoC design flow from high level design to synthesis, place and route, timing and power to create a design database that is ready for manufacturing.
  • May also review vendor capability to support development.


Minimum skills and experience that will get you notice:

You must possess a minimum of Bachelor Degree in Computer/Electrical  Engineering, Computer Science or related field with 3+ years of industry experience.  OR a Masters in the same fields with 1+ years of industry experience.

Your experience should be in the following:

  • SOC architecture, design flows and debug skills
  • RTL design using Verilog/System Verilog

Preferred skills and experience that will make you stand out:

  • High performance, digital logic designs and integration
  • SoC , platform level power/thermal management or clocking
  • FE/RTL tools and design methodologies
  • SOC level clocking, reset and power management
  • Intel clock routing methodologies and maintaining clock XLS
  • Clock definition and timing analysis flows with industry standard tools/PTPX
  • Post-Si lab debug and power-on
