Job Description
In this role responsibilities include, although not limited to:
  • Validating design and micro-architectural implementation and assumptions
  • Performing all aspects of the SoC logic/validation design flow
  • Performing definition, design, and verification for SoC (System on a Chip) development through simulation and possibly emulation
  • Creating, enhancing, or supporting software tools to improve validation quality
  • Automating validation tasks in order to complete the CPU in the most efficient fashion possible

Additional responsibilities may include:

  • Performing logic design for integration of cell libraries, functional units and subsystems into SoC full chip designs, Register Transfer Level coding, simulation and validation of functional quality for SoCs

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences. This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.

Minimum Qualifications:

The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering Computer Science and experience in:

  • Silicon design

  • Completed computer architecture, logic and circuits class. 

  • Synthesis and silicon layout

  • Python, Java or C programming language

  • 3.5 GPA or higher in major

This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technical internship
  • Experience with Synopsys tools such as Fusion Compiler, ICC2, Primetime or Cadance
