Job Description

The Xeon & Networking Engineering Group (XNE) is focused on developing and delivering networking and 5G products for the data center roadmap.

In this role responsibilities include, although not limited to:

  • Develops and supports digital circuit design for cell libraries.
  • Performs custom digital circuit design and simulation.
  • Designs, develops, modifies and evaluates digital electronic parts, components or integrated circuitry for use in digital electronic equipment and other hardware systems.
  • Determines design approaches and parameters.
  • Performs digital circuit design, verification and layout, data path design and digital block synthesis.

In addition to the below listed qualifications the candidate should have:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills


Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

The candidate must have a Bachelors in Electrical and/or Computer Engineering and 4+ years of experience OR Masters degree in Electrical and/or Computer Engineering and 3+ years of experience in:

  • Functional RTL verification
  • Verilog, System Verilog and OVM/UVM, Perl, C
  • Integrating complex IP into SOC
  • Design audit tools for example CDC, LINT, and clock management
  • Developing test plans based on specifications and requirements
  • Functional verification tools and methodology
  • Developing verification components, large verification environments and tests for complex blocks
  • Coverage driven verification experience
  • Tools: VCS, ModelSim (Questa)


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiar with processor-based SoC verification environments
  • Strong programming skills including object-oriented approaches
  • Familiarity with revision control environments
  • Previous working experience on complex large SOC
