Raytheon Missile and Defense Tucson, AZ Security Lock & Key Specialist
Job Description: The Security Lock & Key Specialist will report to the supervisor of the Security Lock & Key team.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Changing combinations, rekeying, and repairing a wide variety of safes, cipher and commercial door lock hardware to include electrified locking mechanisms, for multiple special access areas
Develop and maintain keying systems for all special access RMS Tucson buildings and accurately maintain critical Lock & Key records for those systems
Develop and deliver lock operation training to diverse groups of various sizes
Collaborate with other Security departments and Facilities management to ensure compliance with NISPOM, AA&E, and other government requirements
U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position requires a minimum of a Secret security clearance
Required Skills:
High School Diploma or GED
4+ years of commercial locksmith experience
A valid drivers license as this role will be expected to drive company vehicles between buildings and locations to meet customer needs
Occasional travel to other business locations, and the flexibility to respond to after hour emergencies is required
The selected candidate must be able to lift at least 60 pounds as this role will entail some lifting of materials and toolboxes
U.S. citizenship is requires as this position requires a Secret Security Clearance
Desired Skills:
Working knowledge with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Power Point) and other web based computer programs
GSA Container Certification
GSA Container & Vault Inspector Certification
Kaba Mas X-Series Factory Certification
Lock-Masters LKM700 Factory Certification
Working knowledge of the NISPOM
Ability to plan, schedule and arrange activities in accomplishing objectives both within individual and team environments
Possess excellent writing, verbal, organizational and customer service skills
Self-starter with minimal supervision
Ability to develop solutions for issues of moderate complexity and scope
Certified Registered Locksmith (CRL) by Associated Locksmiths of America
Currently hold an active Secret or Top Secret DoD clearance with a current investigation date on the first day of employment. A current investigation is defined as an investigation not older than five years
Security Clearance: This position requires the successful issuance, transfer or maintenance of a Secret security Clearance. Non-US citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The Defense Industrial Security Clearance Office (DISCO), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process.
