Play a leading role in shaping the way in which people interact with technology. The Siri Special Projects team is developing new products and features that ship to hundreds of millions of customers around the world across consumer products like iPhone, Apple Watch, and HomePod

We are looking for an innovative, confident, and detail-oriented program manager to manage strategic, cross-functional programs and projects ensuring goals and success criteria are clearly understood and outcomes achieved. In this role, you'll be part of a small, motivated product development team that operates like a startup within Apple. You'll help set strategy, drive action and problem-solve, and develop and refine processes so that the team is able to deliver effectively. You have a consistent track record of successfully leading large, highly complex, cross-functional programs. You're willing to wear any hat necessary and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Key Qualifications

  • 5+ years of project management, program management, or product management
  • 3+ years of leadership responsibility, managing a portfolio of projects, or direction of a team
  • Highly skilled at cross-functional management and influencing without authority
  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle as it relates to machine learned products and services
  • Innate drive to improve how things work with a proven track record of driving dramatic improvements in process
  • Self-motivated and proactive with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, written and verbal, to all levels of an organization

- Organize the portfolio of projects and unify the overall roadmap for the team
- Partner with product, design, and engineering to deliver new prototypes and features
- Facilitate the development of new products from concept to production including specifications, scope, requirements, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Act as a bridge connecting all groups to ensure ownership, requirements, and timelines are clear
- Monitor and report on progress (milestones, key issues, risks), and track project KPIs to performance targets
- Contribute to, audit, and improve project documentation efforts
- Communicate project status to leads and executives, present in executive reviews and coordinate product demos
- Implement and manage new processes to optimize a small team working with multiple cross-functional teams
- Build strong relationships across Apple and facilitate communication between cross-divisional groups

Education & Experience

BS/MS CS/EE/Business or equivalent

Additional Requirements

  • - Strong technical proficiency with eye for design and passion for innovative customer experiences
  • - Experience partnering with and communicating to senior executive leadership
  • - Bonus: Startup experience developing and shipping customer-facing hardware or software from an early stage to scale
