Work with Xeon Server CPU validation team who enables future generations of CPUs that power Cloud, Enterprise, and Data Centers. We're part of Silicon development organization within Data Center validation team, and we're looking for motivated, passionate, talented engineers to join our System Validation team. We're technically strong and vibrant cross-site team. The system engineer creates, defines and develops system validation environment and test suites. Uses and applies emulation and platform level tools and techniques to ensure performance to spec. Responsible for the development of methodologies, execution of validation plans, and debug of failures. Requires broad understanding of multiple system areas and requires interfaces with Architecture, Design, and Pre silicon Validation teams in improving post silicon test content and providing feedback for future on-die debug features.


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications


-The candidate must possess either a BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science with 4+ years of experience, or MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering with 3+ years of experience
- Experience with C or Python language programming
- Understanding of Computer Architecture and CPU micro-architecture
- Experience in verification or validation disciplines
- System level debug and root cause isolation, methodology and tools.
- Experience with hardware, system and/or microprocessor validation.
- Demonstrated networking, communication and influence skills.

Preferred Qualifications


- Kernel experience and/or good understanding of architecture such as PCIe configuration space and register accesses
- Intel architecture and/or Intel chipset Experience
- Test automation frameworks
- Linux OS, Windows OS
