Here you also will be a part of Intel DPGs server programs. EV jobs are always challenging as you are dealing with debugging/resolving complicated analog issues. You work with high end expensive instrumentation that industry can offer such as High BW Scopes, BERTs, Logic Analyzers etc. Job calls for continuous problem-solving skills and overall development in career from day 1.

As a member of our Analog/Electrical Validation Team you will:

  • Develop and implement electrical validation strategy for CPU IO interfaces like DDR, PCIe etc.
  • Perform Si and platform debug to root cause issues and enable robust design fixes
  • Work with hardware, BIOS, HVM and functional teams on implementations and recommend solutions
  • Develop validation scripts with Si DFX features and platform hooks
  • Use standard lab equipment for measurement and characterization
  • Automate test systems to complete EV execution
  • Interact with cross functional teams to provide electrical health assessment: Design, KIT, Pre-Si Validation, HVM test and others as part of the whole EV process
  • Develop and document electrical validation requirements and tests for verification of Si designs
  • Investigate and resolve complex issues with hardware, BIOS, Firmware, Operating System implementations and recommends solutions
  • Uses data analysis to resolve electronic issues

  • Conducts experimental tests and evaluates results.
  • Applies and uses independent evaluation to selects components and equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliability.
  • Evaluates practical capability of vendor to support product development.
  • Also includes Analog, Mixed-Signal and RF Development Engineers with specialized skills and expertise in developing Monolithic Integrated Circuits (MMIC) for wireless and wireline communications systems and products using CMOS, BiCMOS, SiGe, GaAs Process technologies.


Minimum Qualifications:

The candidate must possess either a BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science with 5+ years of experience; or MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering with 3+ years of experience; or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering with 1+ year of experience.

Minimum of 3+ years of applied experience in the following attributes:

  • Problem-solving, debug and logic proficiency
  • A developed understanding of Computer Architecture and CPU micro-architecture
  • A developed understanding of analog electronics
  • Experience with Python or C language programming

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A developed understanding of high-speed hardware design including schematic capturing and layout design
  • A developed understanding of signal integrity and power delivery network
  • Memory I/O interfaces

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
