Apple is seeking an experienced marketing professional to join our growing team. This role will be a key contributor to the development and execution of multi-platform global campaigns for upcoming content initiatives and be an integral part of handling the overall consumer content experience and community across the lifecycle of Apple content
You will collaborate and work across internal teams (Development, Current, Business Affairs, Legal, Marketing, Publicity, Digital, and Social) with a focus on strategy and execution of integrated campaigns. You have experience developing consumer awareness and demand for products and services at scale, with preferred prior work experience in film, television, or consumer products and services. You love media and entertainment and have a real passion for pop culture. You thrive in a fast paced, growth environment, have stellar verbal and written communication skills, and are an excellent collaborator and teammate

Key Qualifications

  • Minimum 4+ years in consumer marketing experience, preferably in media / entertainment and/or major brand or IP driven consumer categories (e.g. retail, toys / gaming, CPG, fashion & beauty), with a real passion for entertainment
  • Marketing subject matter expertise and professional experience in at least one of the following, with exposure and understanding of the complete integrated marketing lifecycle:
  • Developing strategy, positioning and target audiences for consumer campaigns at scale
  • Developing media strategy and analytics, e.g. media mix decisioning, budgeting and forecasting, media pricing and optimization, goals / measurement
  • Executing paid media campaigns across channels (e.g. TV, OOH, Experiential, Radio, Digital, Social) to drive awareness for new entertainment or consumer products and services
  • Developing brand partnerships and integrations with internal teams across Apple or third parties, including retail, experiential, newsletters, email, or editorial placements
  • Developing strategy and handling organic social and digital spanning content creation, community and audience development
  • Cross-functional collaboration across PR/Communications, adjacent business teams, content producers and creators (show runners, filmmakers)
  • Stellar written and verbal communication skills. Able to present ideas simply in presentations and documents across a range of partner perspectives -from creative to business
  • Excellent organizational, scheduling, project management and multi-tasking skills with solid attention to detail
  • Inventive self-starter; eager to learn and grow, and bring a can-do attitude to the position
  • Demonstrated career progression, shown ability to collaborate and partner cross-functionally and with clients and internal partners in a highly matrixed organization

Description

Support team based approach on developing and executing our integrated campaigns that drive buzz and viewership for Apple content and execute programs to sustain awareness and viewership

Lead and oversee major modules of complex, cross-functional initiatives, anticipating roadblocks, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining communications with key stakeholder groups and team leads to communicate changes and ensure internal coordination and approvals

Coordinate and support creative development and production of multi-media content assets that extend the show across paid/organic initiatives, ensuring materials are aligned to show positioning and brand, and that creative is consistent across all consumer touch points

Organize cross-functional team planning across campaigns, including managing key meetings, development of campaign recaps and updates, and development of project documents, such as marketing trackers, timelines, status reports, budget review, etc

Manage communication and scheduling with internal and external parties, communicating changes, key deadlines, and deliverables requirements

Education & Experience

Bachelors degree or equivalent. MBA or relevant graduate work a plus.
