The Mechanical Products Team (MPT) is responsible for mechanical design, analysis, and test of all sensor and effector products across the RMD portfolio. The Mechanical Product Team uses state-of-the-art tools, processes, technology, and Raytheon Six Sigma principles.

The Configuration and Data Management (CDM) organization is responsible for ensuring our products are under configuration control and delivered on time. The CDM Organization consists of multiple disciplines that support engineering, our program offices and our customers. Disciplines in the CDM organization participate in the life cycle of our products from conception to deactivation. The CDM organization is comprised of Effector CM (ECM), Data Management (DM/DEX), Software Configuration Management (SWCM), and Sensor CM (SCM).

The Data Management, Engineering Support and Execution (DEX) Department is seeking an energetic and highly motivated individual to fill a Senior Technical Support Staff position.

Please note: Candidates need to be available to work onsite, as this position is only remote during the COVID pandemic.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:
  • The successful candidate will be the primary Department Proposal and EAC point of contact and will work closely with Department stakeholders in support of all Proposal and EAC/LRE (Latest Revised Estimate) activity, supporting all program and functional reviews in direct support of the Department Leader
  • Responsible for defining Department-level Proposal and EAC process, including review cadence and reporting
  • Responsible for Proposal and EAC Dashboard development and subsequent stakeholder training in compliance with the newly defined common Proposal and EAC processes
  • Lead monthly Department Ops Reviews including input coordination/consolidation and meeting facilitation
  • Lead Department Projects, ensuring alignment with RMD Engineering goals, to include cost and schedule analysis cadence and reporting
Qualifications You Must Have:
  • 8 years of Configuration/Data Management experience
  • Bachelors degree or additional 2 years of related experience may be substituted for each 1 year of college
  • Proposal and EAC experience, managing Configuration/Data Management cost and schedule on a program
  • Earned Value Management Certified with demonstrated practical experience
  • Experience with creating/generating metrics and reports
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

  • Experience with standards and processes, such as described in EIA-649 Configuration Management and EIA-859 Data Management Standards
