Come and join us! Intel is seeking highly qualified candidates to join our Internet of Things Group (IoTG) as a Senior System Validation Engineer. SoC Debug and Silicon/System Validation Engineer role has a single purpose which is to solve our most challenging product issues. SOC Debug Engineers work with our internal product teams (Silicon Design, Manufacturing, Platform and Software) and our customer teams during critical escalations to root cause system level failures and/or anomalies directly impacting our customers or jeopardizing our committed timelines.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Performing low level and complex debug across multiple IP and system domains within a product and will use their experience with/understanding of SOC design and architecture, Firmware, Bios and software to completely understand any issue and drive a resolution.
  • Drive innovative debug capability improvements through new Design for Debug (DFD), debug tools and scripts to continuously improve the debug discipline.
  • Drive our validation teams into optimized tools, flows and debug methods for best in case validation coverage and effectiveness.


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering or related field.
  • 9+ years of experience in system level debugger in complicated system issues involving silicon, platform and software components.
  • 5+ years of  Post Silicon validation expertise in Functional Validation or Electrical Validation or Power / Performance Validation methods.
  • 5+ years of experience in enabling new silicon activities in pre silicon and post silicon.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with the Development, Enabling and Validation of embedded SW/FW solutions.
  • Experience with low level software development methods in for enabling features in IA core and Memory subsystems.
  • Complex debug experience involving all levels of post silicon environments.
  • Experience to solve customer's issues to resolve their issues regardless of source. Hardware, Software and Platform.
