| Whole Life Engineering has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Senior System Safety Engineer to join us on the Human Systems Integration and Lifecycle Engineering team in Huntsville, AL. The Whole Life Engineering (WLE) team proactively seeks and applies innovative, customer - focused solutions for superior mission support and system analysis from concept to disposal for new and legacy, domestic and international programs. WLE is made up of several disciplines whose main objective is to influence hardware and systems early in their life cycle to assure effective operation, reliability, system safety, maintainability and economical ownership by the customer and end user. As a System Safety Engineer, you're an integral participant in the design/development process and will exercise considerable latitude in technical decisions to meet customer requirements. In this role you will work with a multi-disciplinary team responsible for performing safety hazard analyses to identify risks and influence design to eliminate or minimize safety hazards. You will also be responsible for presenting safety results to internal and external stakeholders.
