Job Summary:
Raytheons Missiles and Defense (RMD) Air Power Business Area is looking for a highly motivated individual to join the Space Force Mission finance team. The Finance Lead will be responsible for managing the financial performance of the CPIF CLINs. This position requires proactive leadership and significant interaction with Program Area Directors, Program Managers, and customer representatives from finance and contracts teams to ensure alignment regarding strategy, operating and financial objectives. The Finance lead is a strategic business partner to various functional teams and works in collaboration on the successful execution of proposals, Gate reviews, contract negotiations, financial reporting, and EACs. The candidate will lead and manage a finance team of 1 to 2 finance professionals.

The selected candidate must be able to work under deadlines and constraints as well as have the ability to multitask across a variety of programs. This position requires the ability to provide top level program planning and control guidance as well as the ability to summarize, package, and present information to all levels of management.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:
  • Establish and maintain the overall baseline that is compliant with the program instruction, internal EVM policy and 10255.
  • Provide thorough cost and schedule analysis.
  • Prepare finance charts for Program Management Reviews, monthly operating reviews, financial overviews and other reporting activities as required.
  • Coordinate development of quarterly Estimates at Complete.
  • Utilize and share knowledge of the RTN Earned Value Management system process 10255 policy within the program team.
  • Prepare manpower reports to support Missile Defense and Mission System and Sensors level staffing demand reviews including working with cross function leads to identify gaps and plans to closure.
  • Support preparation of detailed cost CDRLs including Integrated Program Management Reports (IPMRs), Cost Performance Reports (CPRs), Contractor Funding Summary Report (CFSRs), Cost Data Summary Report (1921), and Functional Cost Hour Report (1921-1) as required.
  • Support the monthly forecast / close process.
  • Support the development of the five year strategic and annual operating plans.
Qualification You Must Have:
  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field of study
  • 5+ Years relevant working experience
  • An advanced degree in a related field may be substituted for 2 years of finance years of experience.
  • Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS), Program Controls (Cost/Schedule), or Estimate at Completion (EAC) Process
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a confidential security clearance
Qualifications We Value:
