Our P&C Power Gridders develop complete design packages for protective relaying and communication systems. We design AC one and three-line diagrams, logic and functional diagrams, panel layouts, interconnection diagrams and relaying equipment specifications.

• Development of complete engineering design packages for protective relaying and communications systems, including AC one-line and three-line diagrams, DC schematics, logic and functional diagrams, panel layouts, interconnection diagrams, relaying equipment specifications and bill of materials.
• Development of SCADA packages, including input / output list, and SCADA setting files.
• Provides technical direction and on-the-job training to drafters, engineering technicians, and less experienced engineers.
• Developing, nurturing and maintaining trusted relationships with senior level engineering, managers, and executives with current or prospective clients.
• Confidently and comfortably present technical solutions to key customers respond in real time to technical concerns and answer questions in a knowledgeable articulate manner.
• Direct and/or participate in client meetings/job site visits to collect or deliver design and engineering data.
• Perform/Ensure company’s Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) processes are been follow on all design packages.
• Delegating, planning, prioritizing and reviewing the work of other engineers will be critical.


• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (not engineering technology program). A Master’s degree in engineering will be considered in lieu of the B.S. engineering degree. An international engineering degree will be considered.
• Ten (10) or more years of electrical engineering experience is required, experience in protection and control engineering is required.
• Professional Engineer registration or plan to become registered is required. Professional Engineering registration in the working state a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record are required.
• Must have strong analytical and computer skills.
