Senior Software Engineer (M11JGR7)

Job Description:

Responsible for designing, reviewing and implementing software features, architectures, Application Programming Interfaces, and code, balancing the needs for velocity and impact against those for scalability and reliability, for our mobile software platform.  Work on improving the functionality of Grab’s system that allows serving ride sharing requests.  Partner with the Product teams to select and implement the future features for the product, design and run experiments to improve the current features, and maintain quality on the existing product.  Partner with other engineers and mobile developers to launch and land software features.

Requirements:

• Master’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, or a related field.
• Two years of software development experience including: Analyzing software and customer requirements, and preparing a development plan, including estimation, risks, analytics, unit test, functional test, and code design; Designing and architecting mobile application products and features; Utilizing high-level programming languages for iOS development including Objective-C, Swift, and product task management tool including JIRA; Object Oriented Design Patterns; MVC design patterns; Designing, developing, and implementing user interfaces; and Utilizing source control systems.
