Intel's Ethernet Products Group (EPG), a part of our Connectivity organization, is growing! Join us as a Software Product Architect and give yourself the opportunity to develop networking technology used literary all over the world! We give you an opportunity to be a person who decides about software architecture changes, judge possibilities of feature requests and have a huge impact on the design change requirements. As a Software Product Architect you will deliver your judgement of the effort for new feature requests during the planning phase, starting from early marketing assumptions, architecture, design, and implementation and finally validation and official releases

We are looking for a Software Product Architect that will have the following responsibilities:

  • Conducts or participates in multidisciplinary activities between Software, Firmware, Architecture and Hardware teams.
  • Collaborates with Hardware and Firmware Architects, where changes in Firmware require Software changes.
  • Collaborates with account and marketing teams and engage directly with Intel's customers to understand their requirements for our products.
  • Create Technical Documents


Education Requirement:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field plus 3 years of industry work experience or

- Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field plus 3 years of industry work experience.


Minimum Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience developing software architectures, software requirements, or silicon architecture
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with modern networking architecture or data center architecture.
- 3+ years of experience working on Software projects

Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in driving product requirements and managing changes to requirements, and monitoring Software project progress
- Experience with Networking protocols and functionality including Ethernet/UDP/TCP/IP.
- Experience with Ethernet MAC and PHY Hardware components
- Experience in source code development device drivers or end-user Tools or Applications.
- Experience in networking architecture and networking products - preferably with Intel Ethernet products (LOMs and adapters).
