Job Description

Join our small team and help define next-generation client memory and storage architecture.

The role includes working closely with PnP, and platform use case decomposition teams, to understand how memory and storage are being used by client workloads, and identify opportunities to improve both storage SW stack and SW optimizations to improve efficiency.

The role will also evaluate new trends/capabilities such as memory and storage compression, Direct Storage, CXL, and new security solutions.

Using this knowledge to work with Intel and 3rd party SW, and identify potential platform and memory/storage device optimizations and improvements.

A successful candidate must demonstrate:

  • Good communication skills both verbal and written

  • Be willing to work in a dynamic environment spanning multiple Geos

  • Self-directed and willingness to prioritize and handle multiple tasks concurrently

Responsibilities included but not limited to:

  • Identifying and driving necessary tech readiness for new technologies, defining SW-related requirements for new memory or storage-related HW

  • Working closely with the product teams from product concept to PRQ to enable.


You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related STEM Degree with 6+ years of experience in, but not limited to:

  • Low-level SW (FW, OS driver, kernel..) development

  • Programing and/or modeling experience

  • SW development / architecture

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related STEM Degree.

  • Memory system architecture/design is a plus.

  • SOC architecture/design is a plus.

  • Platform architecture/design is a plus.
