We are seeking a highly motivated security professional to lead the overall Self-Inspection Program for Raytheon Missiles and Defense. This position is classified as REMOTE. The individual will be required to come to a Raytheon Missiles and Defense location from time to time and to support onsite Self Inspections.

Job Summary:
The Senior Manager, RMD Self-Inspection Program will be responsible executing the long-term strategy of the RMD Self Inspection Program. You will manage a team of experienced professionals. You will be expected to expand upon the existing program to ensure that the RMD Self Inspection program grows with the larger organization. This role is in Industrial Security, but will collaborate with Physical Security, CI&I, Mission Area Security, Security Business Operations and Cybersecurity to ensure that all facets of GSS are properly included.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:
  • Responsibilities include ensuring that all RMD cleared facilities have an annual self-inspection evaluating compliance with all regulatory requirements, as well as, internal policies and procedures using appropriately cleared and knowledgeable security professionals from within Raytheon Technologies Company.
  • Ensure that meaningful monthly Continuous Monitoring activities are conducted for all sites.
  • Subsequent to the self-inspections, the candidate will ensure the adequacy of the findings to ensure corrective actions that identify root cause have been implemented in accordance with government and/or company requirements.
  • You will also be responsible to ensure that all outstanding items are closed in a timely manner.
  • As a leader you will also be required to assign, manage and coordinate daily tasking and ensure proper execution. Manages all aspects of staffing and professional development of the team.
  • The chosen candidate ensure that the business has meaningful metrics to identify areas for improvement or increased focused. It is expected that this individual will make significant improvements to processes and systems as this program evolves.
  • Occasional domestic travel is required.

Qualifications You Must Have:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Security and/or Risk Management, Government Policy, Information Management, Criminal Justice, or other related field of study is required. Other degrees may be considered.
    • An advanced degree in a related field may be substituted for three additional years of experience.
  • Ten (10) years of industrial security experience is required
  • Previous experience managing / leading a team (i.e., staffing, mentoring, performance development, etc.)
  • An active and in-scope Secret US security clearance must have an investigation not older than 6 years on the first day of employment
  • Occupational experience with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM)
  • Experience with project / program management

Qualifications We Value:
  • A Masters Degree in Business Management, Security and/or Risk Management, Government Policy, Information Management, Criminal Justice, or other related field of study
  • Active Top Secret clearance
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating vertically and horizontally within an organizational hierarchy
  • Strong interpersonal skills and experience briefing and presenting to senior leadership
  • Experience with problem identification and analytical skills
  • Previous experience as a Facility Security Officer (FSO) and/or Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM)
  • Successful track record of working with Defense Security Service or other Government Cognizant Security Agency personnel
  • Familiarity with Risk Management Framework (RMF) and the DAAPM.
  • Experience in planning, administering and summarizing audit engagements, including the establishment of audit plans, timelines, progress reports and remedial actions
  • Familiarity with security challenges in a manufacturing environment
  • Uncompromising ethics and integrity
  • Experience leading a remote/geographically dispersed workforce
  • Experience providing guidance, subject matter expertise and mentorship to security personnel
  • Highly effective interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills that enable clear, concise messaging of ideas, recommendations and results to leadership and stakeholders
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and collaborate with many disciplines in a fast paced environment
