Apple is looking for a talented professional to lead Business program management for new and on-going Payments and Ecommerce cross-functional initiatives in the Internet Software & Services Organization.

As an integral member of our Business Program management team, you will be working with both Apple internal teams, as well as external partners to deliver best in class customer experience and system implementations

  • Ability to manage a variety of responsibilities and high volume of information
  • Ability to work calmly in the fast paced, high demand environment, or under pressure
  • 5+ years of experience working in the ecommerce space, including both technical and business expertise (e.g. technical implementation through legal contracts)


This role will have two key focuses and responsibilities.

As a program/project manager, this role will need to:
• Capture business requirements from internal teams as well as external partners
• Document the requirements in a clear and actionable way
• Work with ambiguity at the requirements level, and help to define what will be built for a long-term platform, seeing around corners for future needs
• Brainstorm approaches and solutions with multiple teams for scalable and extensible outcomes
• Own the overall business activities of the program management between various business and engineering teams
• Serve as a partner and point of contact between external partners and Apple internal teams
• Work and collaborate with Operations, AppleCare, Engineering and other business partners to identify system and process improvements
• Review contract details with appropriate teams to ensure all contractual requirements are covered in the business requirement document, and in the implementations

You will also develop an in-depth understanding of the end to end funds flows in the Internet Services and Software's eco-system, including back end financial systems flow, reconciliation, reporting, frontend customer journey, supported payment instruments & integrators, and various vendor and partner payments flow. The role also need to have a strong understanding of Apple services, features, and platform that are tightly coupled with Payments and have funds flow associate with it. The role is expected to be a subject matter expert in the designated domain, and be able to provide guidance, and sometimes Business requirement to other cross functional teams
