Do you love taking on big challenges without precedent? Do you possess a detailed knowledge of privacy and a passion for innovation? As a leader on our Privacy Compliance team you'll play an important part in upholding Apple's high ethical and corporate standards.

Reporting to the Director of Privacy Compliance, you will help ensure that Apple continues to lead the industry on privacy and ensures we respond to the changing legal landscape under the GDPR, CCPA, CPRA etc.

Key Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years privacy related experience working with or leading complex teams
  • Proven experience driving complex cross functional initiatives
  • Able to clearly organize and inform through excellent written and verbal communications in English.
  • Strong analytical capability with attention to detail
  • Able to multi-task across diverse business units and geographical boundaries
  • Comfortable expressing a point of view and influencing change
  • Proven ability and commitment to work both independently and collaboratively with numerous people at all levels throughout the company
  • Sound business judgment, and flexibility/adaptability to manage multiple wide-ranging matters, conflicting deadlines, and new areas of expertise as business needs change
  • Demonstrated ability, in a positive, commercial and practical manner, to identify, prioritize and resolve issues quickly and effectively

Description

At Apple, we are about creating great products. Part of making products great is having products that respect consumer security and privacy. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with key members of the business, engineering and legal teams on a variety of cutting edge projects including: privacy by design reviews and projects, supporting compliance and auditing frameworks including in relation to the GDPR and assist with drafting of policies and procedures surrounding privacy laws.

Reporting to the Director of Privacy Compliance you will:
- Be responsible for the management and completion of privacy complaints and queries in a timely, complete and accurate manner
- Support compliance and auditing frameworks
- Assist with drafting of and updates to relevant policies and procedures

Education & Experience

JD and admission to at least one US state bar.
