Patriot System:

  • Leading the SITF team:
    • Establish and manage a vision, strategy and goals to align the team and facilitate conflict resolution
    • Focus, evaluate, motivate, and reward the team, enabling them to achieve desired results
    • Ensure technical integrity and engineering execution to the cost, schedule and technical requirements for the scope executed in the lab
    • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external customers and stakeholders for the SITF
  • Collaboration within the Product Line, across functions, and within the department, to ensure successful execution of the scope performed within the facility
  • Establishing key process and metrics and driving continuous improvement for the services the team provides.
  • Collaboration with the user base and program management to ensure the capabilities and configurations within the facility align with short and long term objectives
  • Supporting SI&T functional leadership, Integrated Product Team leads, and Program Managers to achieve staffing demands, identify and develop key personnel and build long-term plans that support department, program, and business initiatives.
  • Participating in regular internal status reviews, including Gate Reviews, PMRs, Tracking Books, and Estimate at Completions
Required Skills:
  • Minimum of 10 years of Systems Engineering and/or System Integration, Verification & Validation experience, of which at least 5 years must have been in a leadership role (e.g. IPT Lead, CPT Lead, Section Manager, Project Manager, Test Director, etc.)
  • Experience leading a technical team, execution of technical, cost, and schedule performance, and proposals
  • System level experience with Patriot, This role requires knowledge of hardware, software and operations of the Patriot Major End Items
  • Strong Experience interfacing with customers and leading technical solutions to complex user requirements
  • This position requires an active Secret Security Clearance. Except in rare circumstances, only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Desired Skills:
  • Excellent communication, technical writing, oral presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with EVMS (Earned Value Management System) and EAC process
  • Certified Six Sigma Specialist.
  • Familiarity with IPDS, internal reviews and Gate Reviews
  • Expertise in System Integration, Verification or Validation
  • Previous experience supporting both technical and cost proposal efforts
  • Masters Degree in Engineering discipline
  • Understanding of Software Languages (FORTRAN, C, C++)
  • Understanding of Hardware Disciplines (Digital, Analog and RF)
  • Ability to Troubleshoot and Investigate Systems
  • Familiarity with Usage and Application of Test Equipment
  • Management of Property and policies related to Capital, Expense and Government Furnished Property (GFP)
Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics or related Engineering disciplines
