Job Description

The Accelerated Computing Systems and Graphics Group (AXG) Super Compute Platforms team is looking for an outstanding and distinguished Product Architect. You will work closely with our teams to drive a growing portfolio of next-generation Scalar Supercompute products. The role is a senior technical leadership position typically staffed with experienced and highly accomplished lead SOC, Platform, and System Architects who want to broaden their impact and breadth.
Responsibilities

  • Set technical direction for next-generation Supercompute products
  • Map strategic product goals to end-to-end use cases and define detailed architecture and uArchitecture requirements for next-generation products.
  • Drive Product Concepts: create product architecture feature and KPI bounding boxes and set and drive power and performance goals and projections.
  • Support Engineering Concept work with reactive product sensitivity analysis and drive architecture tradeoffs.
  • Author the Product Requirements Document (PRD) covering IP, SOC, Package, Board, Module, Platform, and System.
  • Create TCO and other analytical models to justify architectural tradeoffs.
  • Form close partnership with finance and business leadership to comprehend financial goals and BU tradeoffs.
  • Be the primary technical interface to key customers and senior executives at Intel.
  • Help form product architecture strategy.
  • Roaming problem solver and technical leader capable of driving Product-level investigations into a broad array of architecture domains.


Qualifications

10+ years experience in the below:

  • As a Product Architect and/or Chief Architect or lead SOC Microarchitect and/or Lead Platform and/or System Architect.
  • Technical breadth spanning HPC Systems/SuperCompute Platforms, PODs, Racks, Node, Module, Card, Package, SOC, and key associated IPs. GPUs (graphics, media, compute IP), Memory sub-systems, Storage sub-systems, dGPU interconnects, datacenter fabrics and networking, and POD and System architectures.
  • RAS is a key domain for all supercompute and datacenter products: wear reliability, soft-error and hard-error Rel, error handling, in-field repair for DPM mitigation, and similar topics.
  • Familiar with AI, Deep Learning, Machine learning concepts.
  • Familiar with cloud security and confidential computing concepts.
  • Power management, power delivery, thermals, packaging knowledge
  • Comfortable working across organizational boundaries
  • Comfortable speaking to technical leadership and executives - able to distill complex topics to senior executives concisely.
  • Passion and vision for supercompute and datacenter GPU strategy
  • Knowledge about the supercomputer ecosystem and competitive landscape.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$201,640.00-$322,920.00
