As part of Architecture Power and Performance Analysis team, you will be responsible for planning, evaluating, analyzing and Influencing Intel roadmap across mobile, desktop and server segments. As Senior Power and Performance Analysis Engineer, you will be the resident expert in Silicon Power Analysis, Modeling and Power & Performance (PnP) projections.

Roles and Responsibilities include:

  • Power delivery study, Voltage-Freq analysis, Cdyn, Leakage characterization and IP level PnP analysis and benchmarking against Intel roadmap

  • Define and execute experiments to identify performance and power bottlenecks in architecture

  • Own influencing future power and performance technology to business units across Intel

  • Highlight PnP challenges and opportunities, provide detailed data-based analysis to influence changes to Intel designs

  • Interface directly with engineering teams and senior leadership across the company

  • Proven technology leadership and communication skills are essential

Qualifications

Minimum Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and/or Computer Engineering with 1+ year of working experience OR a Bachelor's degree in EE or CS with a minimum of 3+ years of post graduation industry working experience in power analysis of semi-conductor hardware:

  • Understanding of system architecture and/or micro-architecture for processor, IP and SOC.

  • Knowledge in semiconductor solid-state physics and processing technology.

  • Proven analytical, process engineering and strong stakeholder management skills

  • Ability to effectively work with a cross geographical team of engineers, planners, and finance teams through planning, development, design while delivering results


Preferred Skills:

  • Post Silicon Power Measurements, Validation and Analysis

  • Road map / Business knowledge in Client/Server segments
