As a Senior Planner for the Operations Support Planning & Compliance team youre an active member of a cross-functional team that will create a plan that encompasses material and capacity availability and supports financial objectives. This plan will provide the factory and our suppliers with an executable schedule that achieves on-time delivery to our customer, the warfighter.

Responsibilities will include:

Creating and executing plans and defined schedules that ensure on time Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) deliveries and support of financial objectives

Responsibility for the data integrity of our MRP/Enterprise Requirements Planning (ERP) system as well accountability to key performance indicators that measure plan and schedule execution

Responsibility for the alignment of supply and demand with assurance of on-time contractual delivery and factory annual operating plan is achieved

Work with Operations, Programs, Finance and Supply Chain and the ability to influence without authority to attain agreed upon executable plans

Identifying and leading continuous improvement projects; engaging partners to make and sustain changes


Required Skills:

• 8+ years experience in Supply Chain, Engineering or Operations in a Manufacturing and/or Military environment.
• Experience with Operations planning and scheduling
• Deep knowledge of master data, supply chain, manufacturing operations and the integration of these areas in the planning environment utilizing SAP MRP / ERP system
• Project management, program management or work with cross-functional teams
• The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  
  Desired Skills:
  
• Experience using capacity requirements planning (CRP) and MRP simulation tools such as Rapid Response Kinaxis
• Knowledge of the MRP schedule, capacity planning and financial objectives and works to ensure MRP best reflects the execution schedule
• Comprehensive understanding and application of principles, concepts, industry practices, and standards related to planning through MRP/ERP systems
• Well versed in balancing supply and demand to create executable schedules
• Proficient in shop floor capacity planning and management of load hours
• Proficient in systematic planning solutions to mitigate material constraints
• Proficient in risk and constraint mitigation, with the strong analytical skills required to evaluate end-to-end plan constraints and a knowledge base that can provide creative and systematic solutions to ensure MRP integrity
• Proven ability to work in an environment to achieve a common goal
• Ability to influence business leadership
• Highly skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project)
