Job Description

We are looking an exceptional candidate to work in a challenging, fast paced environment developing next generation 800Gbps and beyond  optical modules and system so that we grow our market share and contribute to Silicon Photonics Product Divisions mission to transform and lead datacenter connectivity and enable Intels differentiation in the networking space. 

 

The individual will be responsible for transceiver module hardware architecture and engineering specifications based on product-level requirements from technical marketing team, interact with broad interdisciplinary team composed of experts in optical devices, electrical ICs, optical and electrical component packaging, schematic design, PCB layout, mechanical/thermal design, firmware and embedded software, manufacturing operations and test, design validation, quality and reliability, etc, to deliver optical transceivers from R&D to high-volume production with superior performance, reliability, cost and time to market versus the competition.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
MS in Computer Science or related field with 6 years of experience in designing testing or validating the optical transceiver design

5 years of experience with optical transceiver test equipment sampling scope realtime scope BERT I2C master devices

3 years of experience in schematics design and how components work

3 years of experience in guiding layout to meet design specification knows how to optimize the power integrity and signal integrity of a PCB design

1 years of experience in multisource agreement on the optical transceivers IEEE 8023 DDQSFP MSA QSFP MSA SFP MSA

Preferred Qualifications

2 years of experience in software programming skills using C C Python andor MATLAB

2 years of experience in working with cross functional teamsfirmware optics mechanical layout validation quality and reliability teams

2 years of experience in data analysis skills and find nonapparent trendscorrelations from mass set of data

1 years of experience in laser driver TIA CDR and DSP work
